About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team supporting mission-critical data center operations. This role focuses on designing, programming, and maintaining PLC-based control systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems for data center infrastructure (power, cooling, and environmental controls).
- Develop and maintain control logic, HMI interfaces, and system documentation.
- Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning for new installations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical teams, and facility managers to ensure seamless operation.
- Implement changes and updates to control systems while minimizing downtime.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.
- Provide technical support and training for on-site teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power distribution, HVAC, cooling systems).
- Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and HMI development.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
