Structural Engineer
LVI have partnered with an AEC firm seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in structural engineering and design across a variety of materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber. As a senior member of the team, you'll lead projects from conceptual design through construction and take on the added responsibility of guiding and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design efforts and establish project design criteria
- Manage the delivery of multiple projects independently
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, analytical models, reports, and correspondence
- Oversee construction administration, including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and site observations
- Attend client meetings and collaborate with design teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of structural engineering experience focused on building structures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
- Demonstrated experience in project and team management
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges
