Position Overview

The company is seeking a Structural Engineer to support industrial facility projects across the southeast. This role focuses on designing and analyzing structures to withstand industrial loads, operational stresses, and environmental conditions. You will have an exposure to a wide variety of projects whilst collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure structural components for industrial buildings and equipment supports.
  • Oversee structural drawing production and coordinate with design teams.
  • Prepare calculations, reports, cost estimates, and design criteria.
  • Analyze pressures, loads, stresses, vibration, and rotating equipment influences.
  • Provide guidance on safe construction practices and code compliance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and client teams.
  • Conduct field inspections to verify structural integrity and construction quality.
  • Manage small structural sub‑contracts and contribute to project coordination.
  • Use structural design and simulation tools such as STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • 6+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
  • Experience with industrial structural design (light to heavy industrial).
  • Proficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, Revit.
  • Experience with steel, concrete, and masonry systems.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, codes, and construction methods.
