Position Overview
The AV Field Project Manager will lead onsite installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects meet design specifications, safety standards, schedules, and budgets. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to deliver high-quality AV installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and perform hands-on work for fabrication and onsite installations.
  • Train technicians on safety, AV installation standards, and company processes.
  • Coordinate staffing and resource allocation with the AV Project Manager.
  • Conduct site surveys, verify readiness, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Lead onsite installation kickoffs and develop work plans.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support to field teams and subcontractors.
  • Stay current with emerging AV technologies and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial AV installation.
  • OSHA certification (10-hr or 30-hr) preferred.
  • AV certifications (Avixa CTS, CTS-I) a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, scopes of work, and line drawings.
  • Experience with control systems and touch panel programming (Crestron, Extron).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
