Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Data Center Manager - Site Lead to oversee operations at a flagship AI infrastructure site. This facility supports hundreds of thousands of GPUs and is critical to delivering high-availability services to global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site operations and ensure 99.99% uptime for mission-critical infrastructure
- Manage and prioritize tasks using internal tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Collaborate with internal teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Interface with colocation partners to understand site topology and resolve issues
- Oversee power, cooling, and networking systems supporting large-scale GPU deployments
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale data center operations
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems (power, cooling, fire suppression)
- Proven leadership in managing teams and multimillion-dollar facility budgets
- Familiarity with GPU clusters and AI workload requirements
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Experience
- Background in AI/ML infrastructure or HPC environments
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and PUE optimization
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO 27001
