Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Operations will lead the strategic and tactical execution of all operational functions across the data center portfolio. This executive will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical infrastructure while driving continuous improvement across construction, commissioning, and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operations of hyperscale data center campuses, including construction delivery, commissioning, and ongoing facility management.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, construction, operations, and compliance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support rapid expansion and long-term sustainability.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for uptime, energy efficiency, safety, and cost control.
- Partner with executive leadership on capital planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including cloud customers, contractors, and local authorities.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, with a strong background in data center operations, construction, or engineering.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale teams and delivering complex capital projects.
- Deep understanding of hyperscale data center environments, including MEP systems, commissioning, and operational best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
