Survey Office Manager
Our client, a respected local engineering and surveying firm in Nashville, is seeking a Survey Office Manager to lead and grow their land surveying operations throughout Middle Tennessee. This is an outstanding opportunity for a licensed surveyor with 8+ years of experience who is ready to take on a leadership role, manage diverse projects, and help shape the future of the firm.
The Survey Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all aspects of land surveying projects, from proposal through completion
- Managing and mentoring field crews and office staff
- Preparing and reviewing plats, legal descriptions, and survey documents
- Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations
- Coordinating with clients, engineers, and contractors
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Supporting business development and proposal efforts
- Implementing quality control and safety standards
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 8 years of land surveying experience
- Tennessee Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and legal standards
- Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
