Electrical Engineer
Summary
A well-established general contractor specializing in underground electrical distribution, substation construction, and renewable energy projects across the U.S. is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to support their utility scale solar/BESS projects! This role offers hybrid flexibility out of their Norton, MA office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate electrical/PV drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEC, UL, and local permitting standards
- Support field operations through site visits and technical guidance.
- Contribute to preconstruction efforts, including cost estimates, quantity takeoffs and manpower requirements for proposals, formats and change orders.
- Recommend renewable energy technologies and support procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in the electrical utility or renewable energy sector.
- Knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, preferably in solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage systems (BESS), and substation engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, MicroStation, or Procore is a plus.
- OSHA safety training preferred.
- Occasional travel required.
