We are seeking a Mechanical or Plumbing Project Manager to join a well-established, Dallas-based contractor known for delivering large-scale commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects across North Texas.

The Role
As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of mid-to-large-scale mechanical or plumbing projects, overseeing all phases from preconstruction through closeout. You'll work closely with field leadership, preconstruction teams, and senior management to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
This role offers strong visibility within the business and a clear pathway toward Senior Project Manager and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical or plumbing scopes on large commercial and institutional projects
- Oversee project lifecycle from preconstruction, budgeting, and buyout through execution and closeout
- Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Work closely with field teams, ensuring strong alignment between office and site operations
- Build and maintain relationships with GCs, owners, and key stakeholders
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement processes
- Drive cost control, change management, and financial reporting
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards
- Identify risks and proactively implement solutions to maintain project success
- Support the development of junior team members and contribute to a strong team culture
What You Bring
- Experience as a Project Manager within mechanical, plumbing, or MEP contracting
- Background working on large-scale commercial projects (healthcare, mission-critical, education, or similar preferred)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, cost control, and forecasting
- Ability to work effectively with field personnel and operations teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex project environments
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience within a self-perform mechanical contractor environment is highly desirable
