About the Role
Our client, a nationally recognized engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a Wastewater Conveyance Practice Leader to grow and lead their wastewater conveyance program across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and North Texas region. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a proven technical and business leader who is passionate about building teams, delivering complex infrastructure projects, and expanding client relationships in a rapidly growing market.
This role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, drive project delivery excellence, and play a key role in the firm's long-term growth in Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic leadership for wastewater conveyance projects including gravity sewers, force mains, pump stations, and system rehabilitation programs
- Lead and grow a regional wastewater conveyance practice, including staffing, mentoring, and business planning
- Serve as a client-facing leader, building and maintaining strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, and regional agencies throughout North Texas
- Support business development pursuits, including proposal development, presentations, and interview participation
- Oversee quality, schedule, and financial performance of projects
- Collaborate with water, wastewater treatment, and planning teams across the firm nationally
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on system planning, program delivery, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain
- 12+ years of experience delivering wastewater conveyance projects
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects
- Strong understanding of North Texas utility clients, standards, and regulatory environment
- Proven ability to support or lead business development and client engagement efforts
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
