Our client, a leading engineering and acoustic consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their team in Hawaii. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of acoustic consulting services to clients across various industries, including architectural acoustics, environmental noise, and vibration assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct acoustic measurements, assessments, and analysis for various projects in Hawaii and beyond.
- Design and develop noise control solutions for clients in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other members of the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements in acoustic consulting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in acoustic consulting, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Knowledge of acoustic measurement techniques and analysis tools, including sound level meters, FFT analyzers, and modeling software.
- Strong understanding of acoustic design principles and noise control strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in Hawaii is a plus.
