A global design build construction firm is seeking a project director to help lead within their transit/civil infrastructure division.
Experience within construction/engineering on large scale rail or highway/bridge projects is imperative to the success of the role.
This is a pure "seller/doer" role. The primary function of the director will be to developer new business for the firm with municipalities and other construction firm on large scale civil engineering/construction projects.
The projects themselves will be design build and P3 projects (public private partnership). These types of projects tend to be unique and challenging in nature as each one is different.
From there, the director will help manage operations of the projects they helped to acquire.
This is a high tier, and rewarding position for a professional who would like to manage high profile civil projects from inception to completion.
The project director must be a licensed Professional Engineer, as well as hold at least a bachelors in a civil or construction related engineering degree.
Ideally, the firm would prefer the director to work out of either their Georgia or North Carolina locations, but are flexible on travel/living arrangements at this time.
