We are seeking a talented and experienced Audiovisual Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Audiovisual Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audiovisual systems at client sites.
You will collaborate with clients, project managers, and technicians to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of AV systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of our audiovisual solutions.
Responsibilities: 100k - 140k
- Perform on-site installation, configuration, and testing of audiovisual equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, control systems, and video conferencing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements, ensuring accurate and efficient system deployment.
- Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving problems to ensure smooth operation of AV systems.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in audiovisual systems to provide innovative solutions and recommend system upgrades.
- Document installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as an Audiovisual Field Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in installing and troubleshooting AV systems.
- In-depth knowledge of audiovisual technologies, including displays, projectors, sound systems, control systems, and video conferencing systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or Crestron/Extron certification is a plus.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
