Position Overview:
As an AV CAD Engineer specializing in residential projects, you will play a pivotal role in translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans. Responsibilities:
System Design:
- Collaborate with AV designers to create detailed CAD drawings for residential audio-visual systems, including home theaters, multi-room audio, lighting control, and automation.
Schematic Diagrams:
- Develop comprehensive schematics illustrating the layout, placement, and connectivity of AV components within residential spaces.
Equipment Placement:
- Determine optimal placement for AV equipment, including displays, speakers, control systems, and other smart home devices, ensuring aesthetic appeal and functionality.
Cable Routing:
- Design efficient and organized cable pathways to accommodate wiring for audio, video, and control systems.
Integration with Architectural Plans:
- Coordinate AV system designs with architectural plans to seamlessly integrate technology with the overall design of the residence.
Material and Equipment Specifications:
