A mid-size firm that has grown 30% since 2019, that is well established in the North Carolina market is looking for a Bridge Engineer to join their group. This is a great opportunity for a Bridge Engineer EIT or Structural Engineer to get extensive experience on diverse projects!
The firm is a well-recognized firm, that has great relationships with NCDOT, as well as local counties and municipalities. Day to day duties would include:
Training and mentoring younger staff on best engineering practices
Training staff on design standards with NCDOT and other clients standards
Help lead business development efforts with other senior leaders on the team
Manage active projects, and be Project Manager of record
Skills and Qualifications:
-BSCE or MSCE degree with 3+ years of structural/bridge design experience on transportation projects.
-EIT or PE license in North Carolina, or the ability to obtain in the next 6 months
-MicroStation and OpenRoads experience is required; AutoCAD and/or Revit experience is preferred.
-Knowledge of NCDOT structure design standards and practices are preferred
-NCDOT structural design experience is required
-Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements
