My client is a world renown water technology company, specializing in providing high-quality water treatment solution services to various industrial sectors. We are seeking a Business Development/Sales Manager to join our team and lead the state-wide business development efforts.
Job Description:
The Business Development/Sales Manager will be responsible for generating sales across various industrial sectors in the state. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and possess excellent sales and business development skills. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the National Sales Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute state-wide business development strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Identify potential customers and markets, and build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Participate in sales meetings and presentations to showcase the company's capabilities and services.
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with customers.
- Analyze and evaluate sales data to develop sales forecasts and plans.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and stay up-to-date on market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and sales in an engineering or related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
