This firm is looking for a Civil Engineer lll who has experience 5+ years of experience in land development to join them in their Plano, TX office.
Brief Job Description
Be a leader on the technical side- support, guide, delegate, and provide direction to those with less experience.
Assist with marketing the firm and be able to establish new clients and enhance current relationships with exciting clients.
use advanced techniques and theories into practice in the civil engineering field.
Be a technical specialist and liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on complex project issues.
Plan, scheduled, conducted, and coordinated the next stages of projects
carry out complex or novel assignments - the development of new and improved civil engineering techniques or procedures.
Perform field investigation or any inspections
Conduct reviews or assist with any design, plans reviews of projects
Work closely with other disciplines on projects
Review plans and prepare/ review technical specifications, contracts, and documents.
Assist in training younger staff and CAD drafters
Work effectively with leaders as well as clients
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requirements:
BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant degree
PE License
5-7 years experience in land development
Demonstrate proficiency with computer applications or any design software
Organization skill
Understanding of business and financial principles in the consulting business
Based in Dallas or willing to relocate
