An exciting opportunity in Newark, New Jersey for a Civil Engineering Project Manager.
Project Managers are responsible for managing multiple site development projects entirely from start to finish including budgeting, scheduling, due diligence, contract document preparation, design calculations, ordinance and regulatory requirements and construction administration services. You will also be responsible for preparing proposals, mentoring and training assigned staff, external meetings, and making project presentations.
Civil Engineering PM Requirements;
Bachelor's Degree in a Civil Engineering or related program
New Jersey PE (Professional Engineering) license
Valid driver's license
7+ year of experience working on Civil Engineering/Land Development projects, including site planning, layout, drainage, utility design, and soil erosion and sediment control design.
Knowledge of local municipality, county, and state land use entitlement process and regulations
Expertise in hydrology/hydraulic analysis and storm water management design
Auto-CAD and Civil 3D skills
Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Proven leadership ability with experience building and/or managing teams
Superior organisation and delegation ability
Excellent written and verbal skills, including public speaking.
