Position Overview:
As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating commercial construction projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
Resource Management: Coordinate with internal and external teams, subcontractors, and vendors to allocate resources efficiently. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
Budget Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on quality control and ensure that all work adheres to industry standards and safety regulations.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore).
PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
OSHA certification preferred.
