One of the leading large scale Battery Storage Developers is currently looking to bring on a Commissioning Manager/Engineer with 3-5 years experience with an electrical focus. This position will be remote with fairly extensive travel across the US. You will be expected to be an individual contributor in addition to working closely with the Office HQ and Project Management Team.
Commissioning Manager/Engineer Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure a safe working environment in accordance to the company's safety policy
- Conduct multiple Energy Storage commissioning and energization processes, ensuring that it is complying with the intended schedule
- Work cross collaboratively with relevant teams in order to prepare the technical deliverables, making sure that the project is following the contractual obligations
- Coordinate any and all activities in the field and with the customer/owner
- Act as the primary point of contact and support line for any troubleshooting and root cause analysis for any areas that may be under-performing
- Conduct the final site acceptance testing with the customer to verify everything is up to their standards

- Troubleshoot
- Resolve
- Create and implement any and all best practices, with the goal to continuously improve the commissioning process, through reflecting on previous projects
- Create all of the commissioning reports, training materials, issue tracking logs and project close out documentation
Commissioning Manager/Engineer Qualifications:
- Preferably a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or in a related field
- 3-5 years of commissioning experience which includes:
- testing
- operation
- field support
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively and close to 80%+ of the time
- Experience with Battery Storage systems is preferred
