General/Concrete Superintendent - [ WTP / WWTP }
A Large California based General Contractor specializing in Heavy Civil construction and public works is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to bring on to their Water/Wastewater project in the Bay Area in Northern California. An ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and great team-work capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ensuring the safety of personnel and operations
Planning/scheduling work on a regular basis
Ensuring the quality of the product meets project standards
Ensuring all activities are in compliance with laws, regulations and Company policy
Supervision of multiple craft workers on multiple crews.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-year degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), with 2 or more years of supervising active construction as superintendent (required), more preferred
- 10+ years of self-perform construction experience (required); wet structure concrete in water/wastewater treatment plants strongly preferred
