Job Title: Solar Construction Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Construction Manager to oversee the successful execution of large-scale solar projects. As the Solar Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process from initial planning through to project completion. This includes managing on-site teams, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring quality control and safety compliance, and keeping the project on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the construction of utility-scale solar projects from start to finish.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any construction-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and control project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage project P&L.
- Ensure all required documentation and reports are completed on time.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in solar construction, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of solar technologies, construction practices, and safety standards.
- Proven experience managing large-scale utility solar projects (50 MW+).
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate efforts across various project phases.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- PMP, LEED, or other industry certifications (a plus).
