You will be responsible for all APAC data center EHS legal compliance, program implementation, conformance and resource management. You will play a critical role in ensuring all EHS issues are identified and addressed by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contractors. You will also provide additional support and project management oversight to new and critical EHS initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the execution of the company's EHS strategy/ plan and performance standards and managing EHS matters
- Develop and implement a robust EHS assurance process for DC operations, ensuring GMS performance standards and controls are effectively implemented.
- Work in collaboration with the DC operations teams to develop, establish and maintain risk profiles, and design/lead programs, improvement plans.
- Assist stakeholders and lead the teams towards a Zero Harm culture. Identify and assist the management with obtaining applicable EHS permits/licenses to ensure timely and successful start-up and operation of data centers.
Minimum qualifications
- 10 years of experience in environmental health and safety (EHS).
- Experience working with APAC regional EHS regulations.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
- Professional EHS Certification (CMIOSH, CSP, CHMM, REM, WSHO, FSM etc).
- Experience leading large cross functional teams to align and deliver technical projects.
- Experience communicating with government authorities regarding EHS issues.
- Experience of working with Zero Harm policy and commitment to legal compliance.
- Knowledge of Facilities Management, Engineering and Construction.
