As an Audio-Visual Design Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to excel in AV system design using CAD and Revit, ensuring the optimal performance and alignment with project specifications. You will work closely with project teams, providing expertise in AV design and coordination. This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Relocation Package:
This position includes a relocation package of up to $10k. Includes a cash amount and temporary housing for up to 2 months.
Location: St Petersburg, Fl.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD and Revit to create comprehensive AV system designs, ensuring they meet project scope and design intent.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate AV systems effectively within projects.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the project team, actively participating in project meetings and providing design updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems, seeking appropriate solutions and assistance when necessary.
Coordinate AV network configurations and integrate them seamlessly with the client's network.
Contribute to the development and optimization of A/V system designs, sharing valuable insights and lessons learned with the engineering teams.
Organize and label configuration and design files for efficient service team use.
Continuously expand your technical knowledge and certifications in the field.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in AV system design, CAD, and Revit.
Proficiency in CAD and Revit for AV design.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot AV systems.
Familiarity with AVIXA standards.
Preferred certifications in AV design and technology.
Work Environment:
This position will primarily involve office work with some fieldwork, (Hybrid position.)
You may be required to spend time on-site, including standing and moving around the job site.
Frequent travel may be necessary.
