Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical/Systems Engineering or any related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience in the renewable industry (solar, wind, hydrogen, energy storage projects)
- Minimum 4 years of management experience (leading a team)
- Work experience in the development/design of renewable plants
- Previous full life cycle experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and photo-voltaic performance modelling tools (PVsyst preferably)
- Knowledge of battery storage, photo-voltaic design, and optimization
- Background in EPC work in renewables a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing the subject-matter-expert team, as well as leading/supporting technical needs for project development and execution of renewable projects
- Develop and lead the strategy to develop the SME team in sectors such as solar, new energy storage solutions, wind, and hydrogen
- Be able to work professionally with the project finance teams as well as the EPC teams
- Review technical designs, studies, reports, permits as related to design, cost, and schedule impact
- Manage technical needs such as conceptual and advanced system design, perform site visits, observing regulatory codes
- Collaborate with other team members to contribute to the design and deliver-ability of PV, BESS, and other renewable projects
