Seeking a junior environmental Engineer to provide support for the management of multiple remedial projects under the direction of the of the directors and the oversight of
Major Responsibilities:
* Manage all assigned tasks professionally to ensure a high-quality outcome within target timeframes
* Assist Environmental Engineers and clerical staff in maintaining well-organized and up-to-date project files
* Assist Environmental Engineers in reviewing pertinent remedial reports, site data and related emails; provide concise and technically accurate comments
* Become familiar with applicable state and federal regulations and technical guidance as it relates to the remedial process at contaminated sites
* Assist in preparation for meetings with community representatives and state regulatory agencies, applying legal policies when participating in meetings, presentations, or when speaking to the public
* Apply "out of the box" analytical principles, personal experience, knowledge and technical training to develop innovative solutions to complex environmental problems and procedural challenges
Position Specifications:
* Bachelor's degree in chemistry, geology or environmental engineering
* Experience in utility services at manufactured gas plant sites a plus
* Strong ability to work well within a team environment and tackle assignments effectively * Strong communication and report writing skills
* Proficiency with MS Office, including strong knowledge of Excel and Word
