Summary: A top regional multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking for a Junior to mid level Electrical Engineer to join their growing New Jersey office. They work with top clients in the area on projects ranging from commercial, industrial, health care, religious institutions, educational, labs, clean rooms, airports, etc. They have an energetic, upbeat office culture as well as providing their team with mentor ship, personal growth, and continued education to grow one's career.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Perform site surveys when necessary
- Prepare electrical and fire alarm system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics and specifications under the guidance of a senior engineer
- Design power and lighting systems for a wide array of building technologies
- Prepare engineering deliverable and drawings including presentation materials, calculations, construction documents, specifications, design analysis and project completion records
- Provide technical information and assistance to Project Manager and Division Manager
The Electrical Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- Passed or willing to pursue FE exam/license
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- AutoCAD experience; Revit a plus
- Valid U.S. driver's license
