Position Overview: We are currently seeking an Electrical Staff Engineer III with expertise in the oil & gas sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field. As an Electrical Staff Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and solutions for oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for oil & gas projects, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in electrical engineering, ensuring the successful completion of projects within established timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive and sustainable solutions for clients in the oil & gas industry.
- Conduct detailed site assessments, analyze data, and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5-10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on oil & gas projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, ETAP or SKM.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
