Summary: One of the Big 4 contractors is currently looking for a NI Project Manager in Queens & Long Island.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of a contract during contract bidding through all subsequent processes to assure timely completion.
- Project management of walkways and passenger boarding bridge projects, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, design coordination, installation, and documentation.
- Accountable for managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Timely response to customer communication, coordinate schedules and installation with customers.
- Responsible for site visits and harmonizing meetings with customers.
- Responsible to coordinate and oversee the installation of equipment. Manage and provide direction to subcontractors and our own field personnel.
- Providing a progress review of projects to ensure that contract documents are consistent with the required scope of the project.
- Assure timely completion of the necessary paperwork for job costing, schedule requirements, parts and supply requirements.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the elevator space
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Project or other scheduling software.
- Demonstrated experience and success in the management of projects, processes and high-level customer service.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
- Ability to travel as needed and/or work extended hours.
- Able to thrive in a fast pace environment.
- Observe all safety rules, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
