Job Description: Enterprise Client Executive - Utilities
Position Overview: My Client is a global leader in innovative metering solutions, is seeking an experienced and motivated Enterprise Client Executive to manage and cultivate relationships with key utility clients worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the unique needs of utility clients, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through the deployment of their cutting-edge metering technologies and solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the utilities industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key utility clients at the enterprise level.
- Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients, understanding their business objectives and aligning the solutions to address their needs.
Strategic Account Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies, focusing on driving revenue growth and expanding footprint within the utility sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion within existing client accounts.
Solution Consultation:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of metering solutions and technology offerings to provide expert guidance and consultation to clients.
- Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure agreements are aligned with client expectations and capabilities.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring that commitments are met and delivering exceptional value to clients.
Market Intelligence and Trends:
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the utilities sector.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations to drive product development and solution enhancement efforts.
Customer Satisfaction and Support:
- Proactively address client concerns and issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Act as an advocate for clients within the organization, ensuring their needs are effectively communicated and addressed.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the development of sales plans and strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (15++ years) in a client-facing role within the utilities sector, preferably with enterprise-level clients.
- Strong understanding of utility operations, metering technologies, and industry dynamics.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large-scale client relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive innovation.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
