Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in Industrial Hygiene
- Extensive experience with mold, asbestos, and lead, with an emphasis on asbestos projects
- Proficiency in professional and effective communication with clients, management, and peers is essential.
- Strong skills in technical writing and verbal communication are required.
- The ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Provide services related to Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Assessments, Microbial Contaminants and Remediation (Mold and Bacteria), as well as Asbestos and/or Lead Investigations and Abatement Monitoring, along with various other environmental consulting services.
- Conduct routine audits of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) processes and follow up to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Ensure the availability and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety devices, and ergonomic equipment.
- Actively coordinate, communicate, and provide support for the execution of EHS regulatory inspections, while leading EHS projects aimed at enhancing key performance indicators.
- Gather samples for the analysis of asbestos, lead, dust, gases, vapors, and other potentially hazardous substances.
- Develop and maintain safety and hygiene programs, including activities like ventilation assessments, and management plans for lead and asbestos.
- Inspect and assess the workplace environment, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and governmental regulations.
