We are currently supporting a leading environmental and engineering consultancy in Perth that is seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment and Approvals Consultant to join our team. They are a nationally based company that is fully employee owned and has offices across states in Australia. Their team is hiring for both Senior and Principal level positions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate environmental impact assessments and approvals for a variety of projects, including mining, infrastructure, and urban development.
- Prepare and review environmental impact assessment reports, including flora and fauna assessments, environmental management plans, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure environmental compliance and obtain necessary approvals.
- Provide technical advice to clients on environmental issues and legislation.
- Conduct fieldwork, including site visits and ecological surveys.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project management and technical skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and approvals, preferably in Western Australia.
- Knowledge of Western Australian environmental legislation and regulations (part 4 and 5 approvals)
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience conducting fieldwork and ecological surveys.
