Their primary services are centred around forensic engineering, and surety and construction defect claims cases, but they offer a number of other services to compete as a full service construction consulting firm. They have a deep network of leading insurance firms that they collaborate with to deliver high quality consulting services on claims related to structural failures, storm damages, as well as design and construction defect for a wide range of structure types. They have recently received a large investment in order to further capture market share and bolster their technical support with licensed experts, who will work remotely based out of Florida.
Key Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering, or Architecture
- PE or RA License holder in Florida - Further IIBEC Credentials desirable
- 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel throughout the state of Florida for investigations
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform forensic investigations related to storm damages, vehicle impacts, loss of life and structural collapse
- Review design and construction documents to determine root cause for failures related to pre-construction issues
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary construction consulting practices to ensure efficient and quality project delivery
- Consult with insurance carriers, and act as a representative for the firm with a number of nationwide clients
- Provide expert witness testimony as litigation support for a variety of claim types
