We are currently partnering with an industry leader who are looking to establish their package teams for their upcoming Offshore Wind Projects in the Korean Peninsula. They are currently searching for an experience FOU Package Manager to join their ranks.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for project design, specification and management of Foundation Package across the planning and development phase
- Collaborate closely and interface smoothly with other package managers to ensure the development is successfully designed, procured, and delivered
- Ensure as part of the broader team the completion of the larger Balance of Plant contract
- Oversee coordination with all supporting functions including Finance, Permits, Contracts etc - certify that internal requirements are aligned within the Package
- Owner of Foundation FEED Design process and manage contractor deliverables and Owner's Engineer review
- Ensure commercial and technical requirements are for the Package are scoped within tender materials, lead negotiation and coordinate with relevant internal teams
- Provide commercial input t procurement strategy for the relevant package - identify, tender and select equipment suppliers, EPC and O&M contractors for the project and select advisors
- Establish and manage HSE standards to offshore wind industry best practices and oversee implementation of HSE plans on the scope of the Package
- Manage environmental standards to meet EIA and permitting requirements
- Oversee foundation aspect of BOP contractor during construction and assure witness and inspection points are attended to accurately reported and relevant quality plans are put in place
- Overall Project management during construction and forward planning of O&M contractor activities for Foundation package
- Review and analyse supply, installation, construction and O&M pricing and input to the project financial model.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering or equivalent
- 10-12 years of experience in related field - Technical package manager roles for offshore wind projects in an energy developer, contractor or fabrication contractor - ideally serial Jacket Foundation Production
- Proven commercial skills in contract negotiation - involvement in successful negotiation relating to contract variation and disputes
- Excellent communication skills in English, Korean Speaking is desired but not essential
