Position title: Head of Design Engineering
Location: Singapore
We are currently working with a client who is seeking for a Head of Design Engineer to oversee a team in Instrumentation, Control and Electrical within the Environmental and Water Industries.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing system integration for Water & Wastewater treatment as well as Desalination.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee timely delivery and accuracy of technical documentation
- To maintain and establish a technical library of General specifications, Technical data and drawings of equipment, systems and products
- Lead a team of design engineers to develop innovative skill in plant engineering
- Optimize design to meet project requirements
- Ensure competency of engineers to meet the latest design standard and knowledge
- Manage deliverables from external design consultants in Civil & Structural / Building Services
- Manage design deliverables within STEML for projects requiring inter-department design team
Requirements
- Over 15 years of experience in Technical Design and/or system integration of Water & Wastewater Treatment and Desalination plants
- Strong technical and design knowledge in plant engineering within the Water industry
- Experience with project execution in large scale plants within the Water industry
- Good communication skills & ability to work under pressure
- Singaporean / Singaporean PR preferred
