We have a current opportunity for a Highway Engineer that is fully remote! The candidate must reside in Texas and have familiarity with TXDOT standards.

Responsibilities:
- Roadway design using ORD and 3D modeling
- Preparation of detailed sequence of construction plans
- Prepares and checks design computations, design plans, and quantity estimates
- Use of computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
- Coordination with regulatory agencies, utility companies and sub-consultants to obtain information, guidance, and requirements
- Coordinate the design of projects with a team of engineers and designers
- Manage project budgets
- Manage project schedules
- Project management experience and skills are advantageous to the candidate
Candidate MUST have:
- TX, PE license in place
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in highway or traffic engineering for TXDOT projects in the private sector
- Proficiency in OpenRoads, Geopak, and Inroads
- Familiarity with TXDOT regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently and fully remote
Salary ranges 75,000-120,000 depending on experience
