The Role: They are seeking Associate to Senior Applications Engineers who will work together with marketing, and field sales to understand the needs and desires of the customers and provide them with service levels that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
- Choose the best design selections based on customer needs.
- Choose materials based on application requirements while also being cost effective to both the factory and end user.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team for items not in stock.
- Provide selection and quotation training to customers.
- Maintain CRM funnel to ensure opportunity visibility by field sales team.
- Receive customer purchase orders for quoted projects and produce submittal creation and order execution.
- Achieve annual margin targets.
- Achieve annual revenue targets.
- Client management for customer retention
- Update recommendations for product and system improvements.
- Project pricing and lead time negotiations.
- Execute negotiations for large project terms and conditions.
- Manage a team under you dependent on experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 5 plus years of relevant applications experience
- Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
