As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for CEC in their Greenville, SC office, you'll manage projects and teams to create land development and engineering plans for our commercial, institutional, manufacturing, mining, and residential clients. From retail, multi-family, hotel, urban redevelopment, industrial, to a new school project, you'll take part in managing projects, quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers. In managing junior engineers, you will review the design aspects, which will include site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.
You will also work with the Real Estate Practice Lead to identify opportunities for growth including participating in business development and marketing efforts, and implement marketing and sales strategies to provide sustainable growth of the Practice. You will work with other Practices within CEC to provide an integrated service approach to addressing our client's needs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience;
- BS in Civil Engineering;
- Professional Engineering License (P.E.);
- Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business;
- Ability to speak and write professionally;
- Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverable;
- Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution; and
- Ability to grow business in the public sector.
