Mechanical Engineer
Company Summary
A tier 1 company is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC systems in Atlanta, Georgia. They are a multimillion-dollar company who specializes in MEP Engineering. They are looking to design the systems for retail spaces, mixed spaces, commercial, and K-12 schools. The mechanical engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing drawings with AutoCAD and Revit
- Programming, scheduling, and quality control
- Performing field investigations
- Strong written and verbal skills in design
The mechanical engineer should have the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in designing and constructing HVAC
- Knowledge and understanding of piping design, duct design, chiller, boiler systems and air handlers
- Experience performing load calculations, equipment selection and design, and we and dry side system design
- Knowledge and understanding of CMC and CPC codes, CBC, DDC controls, HAP or Energy Pro, and Title 24
