Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced fire safety professional in Melbourne to act as the National Fire Safety Lead. The National Fire Safety Lead will be responsible for providing expert advice on all aspects of fire safety engineering and managing a developed team of professionals across Australia. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent people management skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide management to the entire fire engineering division across Australia.
Reports directly to the CEO.
Pioneer and drive the company's vision and goals.
Technical leadership for the development of fire safety engineering designs, surveys and project assessments.
Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging fire safety regulations.
Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities to deliver the key objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in fire safety engineering or related field.
10+ years' proven experience in fire safety engineering.
Extensive knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and standards.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, project teams, and regulatory authorities.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Professional certifications such as Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) will be advantageous.
