I am currently working with one of the leading solar IPP Developers that has seen significant growth over the last two years both in size and the extent of their project pipeline. It is an extremely exciting time for the company after receiving a $200M+ investment from one of the world largest Energy Corporations in 2018 which has given them the platform to aggressively start eating up market share. With over 1GW already in operation they have well over that booked to build over the course of the next few years. They are looking to bring on a Performance Team Manager, in order to improve their Operational Portfolio Performance!
Performance Team Manager Overview:
- Solar experience is preferred, but not a must have. Open to applicants who have strong Power Generation and Data Analytic experience
- Monitoring and analyzing solar power data
- Monitor system alerts
- Analyze plant data
- Perform Engineer reviews
Performance Team Manager Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day objective of the more junior members on the performance team
- Coordinate the priorities with the Performance Engineer 2, and ensure that the tasks align with the overall goal
- Conduct root cause analysis for any plants that may be under performing
- Calculate any losses from plant outages, any trends and failures, to inform the Asset Management team for any suggestions in terms of suppliers and other internal or external parties
- Manage large volume of spread sheets to track any issues or alarms
Performance Team Manager Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required, electrical engineering degree preferred
- 2+ years of solar experience in system design, development, or construction and or analysis
- Operations center experience is a plus
