You will be joining a global design, engineering, and management consulting company. The companies currently has an opportunity for a Principal Signal Engineer to join their business based in Perth CBD, the roles will be permenant positions within their successful team in Perth.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Concept & scheme development
- Feasibility studies, business case preparation
- Signal design
- Prepare interlocking data, signalling plans, track insulation plans, control tables and circuit design for new and modified works
- Ensure that the designs produced conform to quality procedures and Australian railway standards
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in general civil engineering background with experience in working for both government and private sector clients. Your civil design experience would include railway planning, design; operation and maintenance especially track alignment, railway earthworks and inter-relationship of track and civil disciplines with drainage, geotechnical, structures and all other associated disciplines.
- Project experience in the various stages from feasibility studies, detailed design delivery, handover to operations and asset maintenance.
- Knowledge of various engineering elements of a fully functional railway, including electrified passenger railway and/or pit to port heavy haul railway will be highly regarded. This includes understanding of interfaces and interactions with key disciplines such as terminals, maintenance facilities, signalling, communication and rolling stock and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated contribution to the delivery of successful railway related projects.
