One of the largest global energy solutions providers who are actively growing a new US based Product Development team that will be working on an array of new technologies to further their mission of providing affordable and smart energy solutions that will create a sustainable future for the planet! This is an opportunity to join a team that is working on revolutionary energy system solutions for residential customers including ESS, MLPE, EV Charging solution and Smart IoT paired with word-class software solutions.
They are currently looking to bring on an Additional Software Product Manager to oversee the Development of their New Solar and BESS Monitoring Platform and will offer remote working flexibility for the right candidates! The platform will be used for various interests such as financiers, asset owners, asset managers and O&M and will provide insight into alerts, telemetry streams and savings and revenue figures
Primary Responsibilities, SW Product Manager:
- Create and push the vision and strategy for launching innovative software products for the monitoring platform
- Oversee and direct all of the new product proposal processes in addition to creating product road-maps
- Work alongside engineering, UX and business stakeholders to improve the user and customer experience
- Research the market need and develop appropriate road maps with prioritized features as needed
- Fully understand customer needs and internal work flows to inform new opportunities to understand their experience
- Use agile processes of design to write user stories, plan and drive the software features
- Work alongside engineering, data science, sales and marketing, as well as senior leadership to figure out key features and functionality to deliver a winning product offering
- Act as the product owner and be closely involved with design documentation and and testing of features
- Define and enhance KPI's in conjunction with analytics and stake holder teams that educate business decision making
SW Product Manager Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's OR Masters degree in Engineering or environmental space, MBA is preferred
- Experience in energy sector
- Software engineering background or other technical experience
- Knowledge of demand response, Distributed Energy Resources Energy Markets and Utilities
- 5+ years of experience in product management, which includes Development Delivery and Execution on a strong product vision
- Ability/Experience with working in a fast-paced, data-driven and cross functional culture
- Interest in providing a complete energy system to residential customers across both hardware and software solutions
- Travel up to 20%
