Project Architect - Healthcare
Introduction
Our client is a large firm with over 1,000 employees seeking a project architect specializing in healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in the field and will be based in Philadelphia, United States. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong background in healthcare architecture who is passionate about designing spaces that promote healing and wellness.
Responsibilities
As a project architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative design solutions that meet their requirements. You will also lead a team of architects and designers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing design concepts and presentations
- Preparing construction documents and specifications
- Coordinating with engineering consultants and contractors
- Conducting site visits and quality control inspections
- Managing project budgets and schedules
- Mentoring junior staff members
Skills
