In this position as a Project Geologist, you will work on a variety of exciting projects, collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, and contribute to the clients' success.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Investigations: Conduct geological field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, groundwater monitoring, and site characterization to support project objectives.
Data Analysis: Analyze geological and environmental data to develop a comprehensive understanding of site conditions and assess potential risks.
Report Writing: Prepare technical reports, including environmental impact assessments, geologic hazard assessments, and compliance documents, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project completion.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and maintain strong client relationships.
Compliance: Ensure that all geological and environmental activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and technicians, to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in geological consulting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of geological and environmental regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in geological software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong project management skills.
