I am currently working with one of the up and coming EPC Solar Developers in California. So far, they have installed 100+MW of solar.
They are looking to add a Project Manager that is willing to add a positive attitude and efficient problem solving skills.
The Project Sites are going to be located in Central California. This Project Manager role does not require relocation, but will require travel within California.
The Project Manager should make sure that construction projects are completed according to schedule, with an exceptional attention to quality and within budget. The Project Manager will also be responsible for client relationships, costs and scheduling. They should also:
- Coordinate with the project design team and the engineer team for civil, structural, mechanical and electrical areas
- Forecast project budgets and change orders
- Make sure that Project budgets schedules are updated and within the allotted time-line
- Conduct detailed monthly project reports for review by the Sr Project Manager
- Create vendor purchase orders, subcontract agreements including scope of work, and effectively manage 3rd parties contractors
- Oversee on-site construction activities
- Effectively facilitate project close out activities, including but not limited to; testing and commissioning, utility/AHJ inspections, asset management documentation and final hand-off meetings.
- Direct and oversee Project Engineers.
