One of the largest Geotechnical contractors in the US are looking for a Project Manager to help with the growth of their Kalamazoo office.
The successful candidate will obtain a clear progression plan while becoming an influential figure within the region. If you have 5+ Years Geotechnical Contractor / Foundations experience, then please do read on!
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Ensure that all OSHA safety regulations are met and enforced.
- Assist in business development, risk assessment, bid preparation, selling and closing new work.
- Assist in contract negotiation and oversees subcontractor procurement.
- Responsible for designs, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling.
- Create and review job budgets, cost reports, forecasts and cash flows.
- Primary contact for clients and subcontractors.
- Coordinate, review and submit project change orders, extra work orders, and back charge documentation.
- Analyze, develop and submit claims.
- Coordinate with the Regional Manager and Risk Manager for support and overall strategy.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years Geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred.
