Environmental Remediation Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of environmental remediation projects. As the project manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work with a team of professionals, including engineers, scientists, and contractors, to develop and implement remediation plans that address environmental contamination and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of environmental remediation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Develop and implement remediation plans that address environmental contamination and meet regulatory requirements
- Work closely with project teams to ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all work is completed to the required standards
- Prepare and submit project reports to clients and regulatory agencies
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete and accurate
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental remediation project management
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
