Project Manager/Project Architect - Chicago
A top ENR-ranked Architecture and Design firm is seeking talented and motivated (licensed preferred) architects at the Project Manager and Project Architect levels. The firm, primarily serving Greater Chicago, needs an architect to be a difference-maker on both the business development side, and on all project execution phases. This role provides a clear track to leadership with a group that has proven success, and a future dedicated to impacting Chicagoland in a positive and long-term way.
The Architect will be responsible for:
- Work with discipline leads, Sr. Project Managers, and design team to achieve client goals
- Supervise teams in the coordination and production of projects with all internal and external team members
- Act as the lead contact and resource for clients on all project issues
- Manage the financial and contractual obligations of projects while meeting budgetary goals, scheduling requirements, and program objectives
- Ensure clear team communication and be an advocate for design excellence
The PM/PA should have the following qualifications and abilities:
- Licensure/Cert preferred: completed or near-completion acceptable
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture (or closely related field)
- Computer skills required:
- Revit (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Sketchup a plus)
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Project background ideal within Hospitality, Commercial, Municipal, Healthcare, Preservation, or Retail
- Must possess design, leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Have a sense of ownership and accountability
