Proposal Manager
Location: DC
Job Description: The Proposal Manager will be responsible for leading the development and submission of proposals in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) solicitations. This individual will work closely with the capture team to develop and execute proposal plans, lead proposal writing and editing efforts, and coordinate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information for proposal content. The Proposal Manager will be responsible for ensuring that proposals are completed on time, meet all requirements, and adhere to company proposal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and submission of proposals in response to RFP and RFI solicitations
- Develop and execute proposal plans
- Lead proposal writing and editing efforts
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information for proposal content
- Ensure that proposals are completed on time and meet all requirements
- Adhere to company proposal guidelines
- Manage proposal review and approval process
- Mentor and train proposal team members
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in proposal management
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Top Secret clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. English, business, marketing) preferred
- Master's degree in a related field a plus
